VINTAGE Pfaltzgraff Hydrangea Bowl

This rare represents the transition of Pfaltzgraff from a utility pottery making urns and crocks to an art pottery manufacturer creating decorative household items. Aunt Nan kept this bowl on her dining room table and filled it daily with fresh hydrangeas from her garden. The frog is removable so the bowl can serve other purposes as well. The glaze has a matte finish and the bottom of the bowl is unglazed.
