This beautiful bakelite and silver-plate fish shot was probably never used, and was most likely a wedding gift to Aunt Nen upon her marriage to Uncle George in 1927. If I were to guess, I think it might have come from Nen's sister Aunt Clara and and her husband Uncle Shorty, as they were living in Bermuda at the time. The blades are silver-plate, stamped with the letters "E P N S." The handles are bakelite plastic, with some striation baked in to make it look like bone or ivory. The entire set is packed in a wooden box that is probably oak or walnut, with a blank brass engraveable plate on top and a keyhole lock stamped with the words 'British Made." Alas, the key is long gone!
