This set of 4 teacups and saucers is believed to have been made by the Clyde pottery in Scotland in the late 1800's or early 1900's. They are in excellent condition with no chips; the transfers and gilding are still bold and intact. The pattern, 2586, represents the Imari style that was popular at the time. No doubt Auntie Nen would have sipped after-dinner coffee with the ladies in the dining room while the gentlemen retired to the living room to play cards and smoke cigars... today, you and the girls can have cappuccinos while the boys play video games and vape in the garage!
