This adorable replica of the iconic Chicago landmark clock is in excellent condition with only a slight crack in the glaze on one side that I was unable to photograph. The glaze has a beautiful glossy emerald-green finish that mimics the patina of the original State Street clock. PLEASE NOTE- these photos are from an earlier piece I've sold that is identical except that the glaze on this one is gloss instead of matte and the hands and face on this one are white/black instead of white/green like the photos. Will post updated photos as ASAP! (This one I believe to be older and nicer, IMHO.) I'm not sure when it was made, but it was almost certainly before 2007, when the venerable Marshall Field and Company trademark was retired. Judging by the nicotine grime I painstakingly removed from it (the white faces were yellow!) I suspect it is much older than 2007. It's about 8.5" tall with the lid on, and each side is about 4" across, and I assume it came filled with a bag of delicious Frango mints! No mints left, but this would be a stunning memorial to the golden age of department stores!
