Having grown up in a houseful of boys I'll admit to limited knowledge of dolls! This little girl is 6" tall. Her head and body are one piece of bisque porcelain, and her movable arms are separate pieces. She has "Made in Japan" debossed between her shoulders- I couldn't get a picture for fear of damaging the dress. Her dotted Swiss dress is a pale blue with a ruffled petticoat underneath. It has a tiny lace collar, and a tiny flower at the waist. She is in excellent condition with no chips, tears, or scratches. I believe this would have been made in Nippon, Japan during WWI, when Germany was too busy with war to create dolls for export. Her painted face with rosy rouged cheeks look British to me, so maybe it was made for that market? Or maybe that's just how little girls looked in the 1930's? If you know more about these dolls, please reach out!
