FireKing was Anchor Hocking's answer to the success their competitor Corning Glassworks saw with Pyrex, and IMHO their Lustreware is far more interesting and beautiful than the original! The exterior glaze is much shinier and more durable, so FireKing pieces are usually in better condition- and the colors and designs were far more elegant, probably because by this point Corning had shifted their attention away from glass and onto pyroceramic. This pair of ramekins has ribbing to accent the iridescence, and handles to make them easier to use. One ramekin has a chip on the rim near the handle, the other is in perfect condition.
