VINTAGE Hand-Painted Ostrich Egg. Phillipines Yellow Orchids.

This Ostrich Egg was grown on a farm in Davao, Philippines and was hand painted and signed by a local artist to depict the orchids that are also commercially grown there. The signature indicated that it comes from PAG-ASA Farms- a cooperative in the Philippines that help the locals grow their economy. (It's a fascinating Google search!)
This egg shows a beautiful spray of yellow orchids and leaves against a clear blue sky. The detail is amazing and the colors and proportions of the flowers are perfect! It's a beautiful conversation piece!
