VINTAGE Shawnee Pottery Dog-on-Shoe Planter

This cute fella peaking over a shoe seems to be trying to figure out if he's on trouble... but who could be mad at that little rascal?! The shoe is about 8" long and 4-1/2" tall, in a rich burgundy color. It's in great shape with no chips cracks or crazing. There is a very slight residue at the water line on the inside.
