VINTAGE Bride and Groom Salt and Pepper Set. "Before and After."

Harkening back to a simpler time when television wasn't allowed to depict pregnancy on air, this salt and pepper set would have no doubt been considered quite ribald! The "Before" shows a bride and groom of the era on their big day, then reverses to an ever "After" of society-dictated roles- she has become round with child, and he has become round from the delicious meals she dutifully prepared. If you can't stomach the mysogony- just add a dash of salt and pepper! They stand 4-3/4" tall, and her expectant belly has a sticker that says "Colorful Colorado." There are no bottom marking, and the cork stoppers are still intact. There is an ancient repair where her head was neatly glued back on, and it seems to remain firmly intact.
