Summer Breeze was a late pattern in the history of CorningWare, made only for a couple of years in the late 1990's and taking advantage of silk-screen-inspired techniques to create a pattern with more color and shading than most. It features a trio of colorful pansies flanked by green leaves, and IMJHO is one of the most realistic depictions of nature attempted by Corning.
This dish is a 1.5 liter saucepan (whatever happened to America's switch to metric?!) and is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or dishwasher damage and only some very faint utensil marks on the bottom.
I don't remember this pattern from my cooking or selling past, but I'm wondering if maybe some 90's kids recognize it?
