Momma used a 5-qt dutch oven like this almost every day, mostly for side dishes like a big pot of dirty rice, rice pilaf, green beans, or greens. This one has been completely cleaned inside and out, with a light polish on the outside that gives it a satiny-bright non-reflective surface that's easier to maintain than a mirror finish. Inside, there is some pitting, normal for most pieces I see of this age. The outside is in good vintage condition; there are some scratches on the sides that are consistent with damage from stacking with other pots. They have been reduced by polishing, but they have not been polished away to preserve the material. It has the loop handle on the lid. Ships free in the US.
