Based on the quality and design of this set, I'm pretty sure it came from the decadent 1980's, when people seemed to have money to burn and demanded quality in everything they bought. It's made of cookware-gauge stainless, rather than the thin stamped, painted material that would have been used in the 70's. The handles of the vessel, lid, and forks are all teakwood, and although they came to me seriously distressed by too many trips through the dishwasher, they have been carefully restored with a food-safe finish. The set is complete with the pot, lid, 6 forks, stand, tray, and fuel holder/snuffer. It's designed to hold a standard-sized can of sterno, but you could use the larger member's club chafing fuel by removing the holder.
It's a beautiful set and it restored beautifully! No significant scratches- there was some slight scratches on the tray where the stand sits, so I added rubber bumpers to prevent additional damage.
