RARE Blue Onionware Electric Percolator. Made in Japan.

The beautiful piece of history comes from the early days of electrification, and represents an attempt by manufacturers of the era to make electric appliances that were attractive as well as functional. The blue onion ware pattern was quite popular during the time and was seen on tableware and decorative items, so I supposed it made sense to some smart designer to turn it into a percolator!
This piece is completely intact with all of its original parts, and works perfectly. There's not much that can go wrong with it, as there are no dials, lights, or fallible parts- it's a heating element and a cord! This is the original cloth cord, and it's in perfect condition- I would have replaced it if I had any doubt, but there's no need to. Careful packing and shipping included in the US!
