VINTAGE MCM Hamilton Beach Liquid-Blender Model 215. Refurbished.

This mid-century marvel features the space-age style that captivated industrial designers of the age. Its Saturn-like shape holds a powerful 350 watt direct-drive motor with the power to crush ice for smooth smoothies and frosty margaritas. (see video, speed-enhanced to fit platform.) It's been completely stripped down for bench testing, confirming that all electrical connections are in safe and serviceable condition. This also allows for detailed cleaning, inside and out, to remove all 70+ years' worth of grime! The chrome and bakelite surfaces have been polished to give you many more years of beautiful use.

This unit came to Auntie Nen with a polycarbonate jar that we don't think is original, so we're including a glass replacement jar (new) which we know will be completely safe to use. (We'll include the plastic jar as well.) We've also replaced the rubber sealing ring with a modern silicone one that will past much longer.

It has a simple 2-position switch, and the chrome blade retaining ring is solid metal, so it can't crack like a cheap plastic one. There are no gears to strip or grind, so there's really very little that can ever go wrong with the beautifully designed machine. They really don't make them like this any more! It's the perfect addition to your mid-century barter or kitchen!
