This commercial juicer was designed in Mexico in the 1930's, and has been made for years in Monterrey. It is designed for high-volume operation and fast, complete juice extraction, with an extra-long handle that provides plenty of leverage to remove the maximize amount of juice quickly. It is all-metal, except for the dry-rotted rubber feet which have been replaced with modern ones. The entire surface has been buffed to a clean, even sheen, and the parts have been given a light coat of food-safe beeswax to retard oxidation. The painted areas have been buffed and waxed to prevent further deterioration, but have not be repainted to retain the patina and pattern that can only come from age and consistent use.
Please note: this a big commercial device, standing at least 27" tall! It will not fit under residential kitchen upper cabinets, but would make both an interesting sculpture and useful tool on an island, peninsula, or bar. It will last for centuries as there are really no parts that can wear out! Free shipping in the US.
